The park, which is part of the Araucarias Biosphere Reserve, created by UNESCO in 1983, stands out for its imposing araucaria forests, beautiful lagoons, impressive waterfalls, and views of the volcano that gives it its name. You can enjoy its landscapes from its various trails, where you can see diverse native fauna species, including the pudú, the black woodpecker, and the four-eyed frog, among others.
