The ascent to the summit of La Campana hill is done via the Granizo Sector, Olmué Commune, through the Andinist Trail with a distance of 7 km, being the most difficult section from the Predicted Mine Area (1,200 masl) to the summit of La Campana hill (1,920 masl) with steep, rocky, and uneven slopes.
Rules and obligations:
- Every visitor must purchase their entry pass on the website www.pasesparques.cl prior to the day of the visit and exclusively for “La Campana Summit”.
- Access to the summit of La Campana hill is only allowed on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
- The capacity is 40 daily spots.
- Visitors must download and read the La Campana Summit ascent safety protocol available on the official portal.
- The schedule to access the summit of La Campana hill is from 08:00 to 09:00 hrs.
- NO ascent to the summit will be authorized after 09:00 hrs and visitors may only reach the Predicted Mine area.
- The descent schedule for the Andinist Trail and summit is at 14:00 hrs.
- The stay at the summit of the hill must not exceed 30 minutes.
- The ascent to the summit of La Campana hill is authorized with a minimum of two people, who must stay together throughout the route.
- Visitors must remain on the official route “Andinist Trail” during their entire stay, ascent, and descent.
Non-compliance with the current Park regulations is sanctioned by Municipal Ordinance No. 772/2014 and will not be subject to claims or refunds.
