This park is famous for the impressive Colgante Glacier and the characteristic landscapes of the Valdivian temperate rainforest.
The steep slopes of the Andes mountain range reach the coasts, where the lush cold forest moves with its dense vegetation and beautiful mountains of the Andean range, inviting hiking. Its trails cross dense forests, waterfalls, and rivers, making it an ideal place for ecotourism and wildlife observation.
Currently, the community of Puyuhuapi is the closest town, although it was once thought that the mythical City of the Caesars, an ancient legend of southern Chile, was located in these areas. The combination of its scenic beauty and rich biodiversity makes Queulat an unmissable destination.
