It is recommended: • Use of sunglasses and sunscreen. • Use of appropriate clothing for the mountain. Failure to comply with mandatory requirements will prevent entry to the unit. If your purchase includes tickets for both national visitors and foreigners, you must make the selection in separate processes, but adding them to the same shopping cart before paying.

The trail is only enabled up to the Panimávida Sector.

It is not allowed to reach the glacier or its base, because this area is unstable due to rockfalls. Only walks to the lagoon are permitted.

The El Morado Natural Monument is famous for its impressive glacier and mountainous landscapes. Inside it preserves a geological process of movement and deposition of glacier materials (moraines), from its beginning to its end. For this reason, it has the appearance of a U-shaped mountain valley, flanked on three sides by high mountains. It is a prominent place for ecotourism and nature photography.
