Located in the Magallanes Region and mainly accessible by sea from Puerto Natales, this destination offers an experience through the classic excursion to the Balmaceda and Serrano glaciers, which is carried out on a full-day navigation through the Última Esperanza fjord, with sightings of sea lion colonies, cormorants, and other natural attractions. The Balmaceda glacier is directly appreciated from the boat as an imposing hanging glacier, while at the Serrano glacier there is a landing at Puerto Toro to walk a trail enabled up to the approach of the main viewpoint enjoying panoramic views of the Patagonian surroundings.
The excursion includes activities such as panoramic navigation, hiking, and wildlife observation, so it is recommended to wear warm and waterproof clothing, comfortable footwear, sunscreen, and sunglasses, as well as to book in advance during the high season and always respect the instructions of park rangers and guides to contribute to the conservation of this protected area.
