The El Morado Natural Monument is famous for its impressive glacier and mountainous landscapes. Inside, it preserves a geological process of movement and deposition of glacial materials (moraines), from its beginning to its end. Therefore, it has the appearance of a U-shaped mountain valley, flanked on three sides by high mountains. It is a prominent place for ecotourism and nature photography.
