Frequent questions

How to buy?
  1. Go to www.pasesparques.cl.
  2. Search for your preferred park in the “Search a park” section, by typing its name, selecting a zone (North, Center, South, or Austral), or swiping up to see all parks available for purchase.
  3. Select the park and carefully review the general information, schedules, and rules.
  4. Click the “Select dates” button.
  5. Choose the month of your visit.
  6. Select the visit day, making sure there is capacity available.
  7. Indicate the number of passes according to the corresponding category (nationality and age group) and click “Add to cart.”
  8. Verify your selection is correct and click “Proceed to payment.”
  9. Fill out the form with your details correctly and click “Continue.”
  10. Select your payment method and click “Complete order.”
  11. Done! Your passes and purchase receipt will be sent to the email you provided.
How far in advance should I buy my pass?
It is recommended to buy as early as possible, especially during high season, weekends, or holidays, since spots are limited.
What are the park hours?
Each park, monument, and reserve has its own opening hours, last entry time, and closing time. This information is detailed on each park's page within the website.
What happens if I arrive outside the indicated 'last entry time'?
Entry to the park will not be allowed if you arrive outside the established 'last entry' time, and no refund will be provided. We recommend planning your visit in advance and respecting the opening and closing times to ensure a safe and orderly experience.
Can I change the date of my visit?
Yes, you can request this change up to 24 hours before your original visit date by submitting a request through the following form: https://www.pasesparques.cl/en/form-requests.
Can I request a refund?
Refunds are only granted when the park, reserve, or monument is administratively closed under a Resolution, whether due to emergencies, weather changes, or incidents within the protected area. What happens if I don't attend the National Park on the scheduled day?
If you do not attend on the reserved day and did not request a date change at least 24 hours in advance, it will be considered a unused pass and no refund will be provided.

Can I bring my pet to the parks, monuments, or reserves?
No, pets are not allowed. Law No. 21.600, which establishes the Biodiversity and Protected Areas Service (SBAP), states in Article 108, letter g), the prohibition of domestic animals entering State Protected Areas. Can someone else use my pass?
No, passes are non-transferable, which means they can only be used by the person whose information appears on the pass.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept debit and credit cards, as well as other available electronic methods such as Fintoc (bank transfers) and PayPal.
Can I feed the wildlife?
No, Law No. 21.600, in its Article 108°, establishes a series of prohibitions applicable in State Protected Areas. In particular, any action involving direct interaction or alteration of native wildlife is prohibited, including behaviors such as intimidating, feeding, hunting, capturing, injuring, or killing specimens of wild species.
Is it allowed to make fires or use portable stoves?
No, lighting fires is prohibited within protected areas. Portable stoves are only allowed in authorized sections, if any exist.
Is the use of drones allowed?
No, drones cannot be used for recreational or tourist purposes within State Protected Natural Areas. However, exceptions exist: their use is allowed for scientific research and professional filming, if previously authorized by CONAF.
